The ARDEC South Food Security Project is an opportunity to work with students, professors, and staff from across Colorado State University (CSU) to promote food security on campus! The purpose is to gain experience in the growing and harvesting of food and to promote food security for CSU students. Last year, just a few volunteers were able to grow, harvest, and donate 3,000 + lbs of fresh produce to RAMS Against Hunger and the Mobile Food Pantry at CSU! This year, we are hoping to expand even further.
If you are interested in helping this year, please fill out the survey below, and we will follow-up with more information. Volunteer hours over the summer are very flexible, and access to fresh produce is a great bonus =). Feel free to reach out to Savannah Hobbs at email@example.com with any questions.
