Grants and Funding
Overview:
Graduate Student Council (GSC), the Graduate School, and the Associated Students of Colorado State University (ASCSU) sponsor “Travel Grants” and “Professional Development & Supply Grants” open to all graduate and professional students.
- There are four (4) grant cycles per academic year for both the GSC Travel Grant and the GSC Professional Development & Supply Grant.
- Graduate students may apply during each grant cycle to increase their chances of being selected; however, recipients are limited to receiving one Travel Grant and one Professional Development & Supply Grant per academic year.
- Additionally, recipients are limited to receiving EITHER the GSC Travel Grant OR the Associated Students of Colorado State University (ASCSU) Travel Grant per academic year, but not both.
Disbursement of Funds:
- Each department has its own travel guidelines and documentation requirements, and we encourage applicants to check in with their department administrators prior to applying.
- GSC will disburse funds into the department’s account number associated with the grant recipient, and it is up to the grant recipient to communicate with department administrators for direct deposit or reimbursement.
