Call for Abstracts for CSU Speaks

We want YOU to promote your AWESOME research by presenting at CSU Speaks! Please submit a jargon-free abstract (300 words) describing a 15-minute talk that you would like to give to a community audience at New Belgium on April 18, 2020 from 1:00-5:00 PM.

Abstracts are due February 10. Click here for more information and to submit your abstract.

Quarter 2 Travel Award Applications Now Available


The Graduate Student Council and the Graduate School are pleased to announce the second quarter call for Travel Award applications, which is open to all graduate students who will be presenting their work at a conference. The second quarter is for conferences taking place December 1, 2018 through February, 28, 2019.

New policies have been added to the Travel Award process. Graduate Student Council and the Graduate School are now offering Travel Awards at four different tiers:

Tier 1: 10 awards of $250 each (per quarter)

Tier 2: 3 awards of $500 each (per quarter)

Tier 3: 1 award of $1000 (per quarter)

Tier 4:  2 awards of $2000 each (1 per semester)

Community Day

The Graduate Student Council and Post-doc Association represented both groups at Colorado State’s Community Open House.

Scrumpy’s Fundraiser!

Thanks for everyone that got Scrumpy with the GSC! The event raised ~$60 for the GSC, and it was great meeting graduate students from other departments.

The 2017 fall picnic was a big success. Over a 100 graduate students showed up at City Park for a BBQ hosted by the GSC. Thanks to everyone who showed up and helped with the picnic.

Big Turnout at Krazy Karls GSC Happy Hour!

The Graduate Student Council Hosted over 100 graduate students for pizza at Krazy Karls as a great start to the Fall 2017 semester at CSU! Thanks for everyone that showed up and supported the GSC, and to Krazy Karls for handling so many pizzas with awesome happy hour specials.
